Alternative Latymer had a lovely day in South Kensington
at the Science Museum and Natural History Museum. We meandered around an exhibition about
photography (science or art?), saw an explosive chemistry show, did some hands
on science, learned about how different animals see (did you know that Iguanas
have an eye on the top of their head?), Soraya held a king snake (or was it a
corn snake...) and a scientist called Geoff told us all about collecting
moth specimens in the jungle. Fascinating stuff!
