Day 3 in Portugal
We woke early again today to ensure we were on the
boat by 8am. The boat took us to Carveiro via a breathtaking selection of
caves, namely paradise cave and the love cave (for the heart shaped opening in
the top of the cave). We arrived at the drop-off point exuberant and ready to
go! The 5km swim was a tough one despite the almost perfect conditions.
However, after a few stops for water and jelly babies, we all made it to the
end. The Pink Team even managed a sprint finish! After copious amounts of food,
we set out for a short coastal walk to a lighthouse we had seen on our swim.
Plus another successful BBQ in the evening! Last swim tomorrow!
