Transylvania - Day 5

Romania Day 5

A day of travel. We left our villa in the mountains to travel to Cluj via the magical Corvin Castle and the fortress city of Alba Iulia. We went out for diner in Cluj this evening.

Romania Day 4

Had a great walk to some beautiful waterfalls and a hike back. Stopped to pick some apples in an orchard and back home for a delicious home cooked Romanian meal.

Transylvania - Day 3

Today we set off early to complete a 30km hike in the wilderness of the Carpathian Mountains. Clambering over rocks, trees and river crossing in pristine and tranquil ravines. Arrived back to our delightful villa for a delicious home cooked Romanian dinner on the veranda over looking the mountains.

 

Transylvania - Day 2

Our first full day:

After a bumpy bus journey to the Scasca mountains we had an afternoon hiking in the beautiful

wilderness with some exciting zip lines and abseiling. 

All members of the group threw themselves into it!!

Transylvania - Day 1

We arrived safely and are currently enjoying a hearty breakfast before we head off to the mountains for our trekking phase!
