Our fourth day was spent at Campaign Paintball near Cobham. On
arrival we got our paintballs and combat gear, before being given our guns. Our
first game was in ‘Dodge City’ and saw the Blue team win comfortably, capturing
all three flags, followed by quick revenge for the Reds.
We then went to the
old car yard where we had to get hold of an oil can and take it to the
opposition team’s home base. Amir from the reds managed to get into the blue
team’s home base with seconds remaining of the first game to win it for them,
and the Blues won the second game by having the oil can in the Red half when
the game ended. After a lunch consisting of the legendary Campaign chicken
burger we set out again for D-day.
The first two games were shared, leading to a “Winner-takes-all” final match, won by the Reds, featuring Tom managing to sneak around the back of the Blue team’s
defences and take out quite a few unsuspecting opponents.
At the end of the day, Maddie won the best player
award and Ashley won best bruise!
