Excellent steady breeze from the north, we were able to make it all the way around the island (first time in years!). Stopped in Milport for lunch and hot chocolate.

Sailing in Scotland - Day 1

First day has been full of sun, sailing and not a huge amount of wind but plenty of capsizes! Finished off the day with an ice cream, a cycle ride around the island and this beautiful sunset.

ALL TRIPS: Essential information for parents

We are very much looking forward to our trips returning over the next day or so.

Sailing in Scotland Day 2 and 3

Yesterday we had some absolutely beautiful weather and a steady breeze. Everyone is rapidly improving their skills, and even the total beginners are now confident to single-hand. In the evening we took the ferry back to Largs for Bubble Football.

Today the wind was less cooperative, but everyone took the opportunity to work on their fine trim and other light air skills. Plenty of time to improve teamwork and capsize recovery.
