Today (Wednesday) was Hartland - a day where students get
to enjoy nature and the challenges that arise from the wildness of a coastal
landscape.
The first challenge was the weather, which meant that our abseil had to be cancelled
but, undeterred, Latymerians donned their rain coats and set off.
With no
complaint and much skill, the students navigated their way along the cliffs,
discovering the answers to a quiz along the way.
All three teachers on the
trip, as well as the Skern Lodge instructors, were extremely impressed with the
resilience demonstrated by all today. After a short trip to Westward Ho!,
everyone settled down to watch a film together. A much needed opportunity for a
much needed rest!
