We drove to the town of Bayeux this morning where we saw the beautiful cathedral before going and watching the events of 1066 unfold before our eyes on the famous Bayeux Tapestry - it was so detailed!

Normandy - Day 3
Another busy day in Normandy with lots of
exciting stuff packed in!
We drove to the town of Bayeux this morning where we saw the beautiful cathedral before going and watching the events of 1066 unfold before our eyes on the famous Bayeux Tapestry - it was so detailed!
After this went for a picnic lunch, then watched a 360 degree film
about the D Day landings before going to have a look at the remains of the
artificial port that was built. We then had some time to do some shopping
and have some ice cream by the sea!
