ROWING UPDATE - FROM MR McGEE (Head of Boats)

With Henley Royal Regatta fast approaching, today is qualifying day...

... and there are 2 Latymer school crews, alongside a club crew containing 2 Latymerian coaches all racing to qualify at the end of the day:

4 Latymer girls in the Jubilee Challenge Cup (4x)
8 Latymer boys and their Latymer girl cox in Temple Challenge Cup (8+)
2 coaches, both Latymerians (Kate Griffiths rowing and Hugo Gulliver coxing) in Remenham Challenge Cup (8+)

The girls’ quad is fiery and focused having been in intensive training on the course for the past week, the 2nd 8 is currently the quickest it's ever been, whilst the recently united eight with a Latymerian contingent are as yet an unknown force with guts and experience likely to turn some heads!

If you're around then come and wish them all luck, and roar them off as they boat and race!
