GREDOS - DAY 3

This morning at breakfast there were a few aching muscles after yesterday's activities - and that was just Mr Spencer!

Fuelled by vast quantities of cereal, fresh bread and jam, fruit, yoghurt and cake (a Spanish tradition), we set off for another round of activities including horse riding and mountain biking for those who didn't try it yesterday and a creative workshop and free sports for those that had.
The weather is perfect: sunny spells, but not too hot. There's been enough free time for the sun worshippers to get some exposure time whilst others have preferred to take advantage of the mini football pitch and swings.

This afternoon, Mr Spencer became a legend by completing 4 mountain bike sessions in the last 2 days. Everyone else found just one to be enough!

The dioramas that were put together in the creative workshops today have turned out really well. They combine materials foraged from the local environment, painting and sculptural skills to construct some spectacular installations.

The weather has turned cooler but that didn't prevent most of us from visiting the village shop again after supper - no matter how good the food is, there's always room for a couple of Oreos! Chocolate cravings satisfied, we will be heading for a well-earned sleep in just a few more minutes.
