Paris Cuisine and Culture - Day 1&2

We arrived at Chateau Grande Romaine early evening on Monday, which is our base for the week. We had a lovely dinner and a fun team challenge, which involved the students posing as animals and re-enacting various films.

Today, we set off for Brie-Comte village  for the morning. The students had a small budget to buy ingredients for their lunch, using their finest French. There were prizes for the most original and most appetising lunches. The teachers were very impressed with the array of healthy meals that were prepared.

After lunch, it was off to Phillipe’s snail and animal farm. We learned all about the anatomy and reproduction of snails.  Phillipe then introduced us to all his other animals. The least favourite of which were the geese, the kittens were far more popular.

After the snail farm, everyone was very happy to jump in the pool, as it is hot hot hot! This evening, after dinner we are making crepes. Tomorrow we head into Paris bright and early.
